This proposal would provide funding for 25,000 Tertiary and Further Education (TAFE) places each year over a period of four years to cover all upfront course fees currently faced by TAFE students. The 25,000 places would be spread evenly across Certificate II, Certificate III, Certificate IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses.

This proposal would have effect from 1 January 2020 and would terminate on 31 December 2023.
